Welcome to the website of Elliott Lampkin.

Elliott began racing quarter midgets at the age of 7,
winning his first championship in his first season of
racing. In the following six years he scored five
more championships, numerous main event wins,
and many track qualifying records.
In 2000 he decided to pursue a road racing career
and switched to Go Karts at age 14. After quickly
working his way into shifter karts, he became the
2002 track champion.

Elliott has now ventured into the world of SCCA
road racing, driving a Formula Ford. Scoring a first
and second place finish in his first two races in
2004. After many hurdles in 2005 and missing the
first three races, placing 7th in points was an
accomplishment. 2006 Turned out to be another year
of learning, with more top five finishes, but also
some bad racing luck, which dropped us to 5th in
points for the season.

We look forward to seeing what the 2007 has in
store for us. We would love for you to come join us.

Hello EVERYBODY,

My name is Elliott Lampkin. Thank you for taking the time
to visit my website, and allowing me the opportunity to
tell you a little about myself.

For those of you who don’t already know me.  I was born
on December 9th, 1985 in Fremont, California to Jerry
and Sherry Lampkin.  I was always the mellow kid in
school.  I never had much interest in the normal Little
League Baseball or Soccer sports programs that most of
my friends were active in, but racing was different.
Racing became my passion and I dream of it becoming
my career.

My love for racing started in 1992 at the World of Motor
Sports Show in Santa Clara, California.  When, with the
help of a close family friend named John Bianco.  I was
introduced into the world of Quarter Midgets Racing.

While attending the Show, John Bianco showed me a
Quarter Midget and my father couldn’t peel me out of the
car. Totally infatuated, I proceeded at this young age to
finish the week long training program in 2 days.  John
found me a car to drive for my first race. Before they
knew it, my parents were buying me my own car and dad
was learning how to set it up, and the rest is history.

With limited family funds my parents were able to keep
me on the track and competitive. This lead to my 6
Championships, countless wins and at multiple track
records at every track in northern California from 1993 to
1999.

I am now 21 years of age. I am finishing up my
Mechanical Engineering degree at California State
University, Chico. Wile still racing in an old Lola I have
set-up for SCCA races.

Thank you for visiting my website and please call or e-
mail me with any questions or
comments about me or the site.

Yours truly,
Elliott Lampkin
